MIPM MRI Equipment Carrier

CAD-based product concept for a medical equipment carrier — focusing on ergonomic access, electronic device integration, cable organization, hygiene-related requirements and independent full-scale prototyping.

This project explores the design of an equipment carrier for MRI-related medical environments. The concept was developed around the need to organize, integrate and access essential electronic and medical equipment in a clear, ergonomic and technically considered way.
The design had to respond to detailed functional, technical and hygiene-related requirements. These included the integration of electronic devices, structured cable routing, a fold-out hook system for cable organization, defined caster-height requirements for hospital safety considerations and the avoidance of hard-to-clean recesses to support practical cleaning in medical environments.
My work covered the complete development from CAD concept to physical prototype. I designed the equipment carrier in Fusion 360, planned the model construction and built the full-scale prototype independently — including component selection, rail integration, sanding, priming and painting of the base parts.
